More than 2,000 people are expected to attend firework celebrations in Neston in November in a bid to raise funds for Neston Primary School.
Last year the celebrations at the Rec raised £7,500 for the school and preparations are underway for this year’s event on the evening of November 6.
Jo Corking, from the Friends of Neston School, said: “This event has earned a reputation as a safe and enjoyable evening.
“We raised a lot of money at last year’s event and we hope to top that this year.”
Organisations can also sponsor the event to help boost fundraising efforts. They should contact the Friends of Neston School on (01225) 810478 for more information.
