Townspeople young and old are being urged to roll up their sleeves and join a mass planting of more than 3,500 crocus bulbs on the Big Green in Devizes on Saturday.
The town council has joined forces with the Rotary Club for the event, which is part of a national attempt on the world record for planting.
It is also designed to draw attention to Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign. Planting starts at 11am.
