Police are appealing for help in tracing two men suspected of credit card fraud in Chippenham and Swindon.
The first incident occurred at approximately 5.30am on September16 at the Esso service station on Kingshill Road in Swindon.
Two men entered the shop, selected cigarettes to the value of £1000 and paid for them in three separate transactions using an American Express credit card, which was subsequently found to be a cloned card.
The second incident took place at approximately 1.40am on Wednesday 22nd September 2010 at the Esso service station on Malmesbury Road in Chippenham.
Two men selected cigarettes to the value of £2000, mobile phone cards, oil, and food, and paid for the items in six separate transactions using three different credit cards. All three are now believed to have been cloned cards.
Police are treating the incidents as linked at this time.
