SWINDON Wildcats have signed Nottinghamshire-trained forward Sam Bullas as a surprise late addition to their Premier League roster for the 2010/11 season.

Bullas, 19, impressed as an EPL debutant with the Wildcats last season with his hard work ethic, skills and attitude to the game.

Earlier this summer, the forward was selected by the Elite League's newest team, the Braehead Clan.

However, circumstances at the newly-formed Scottish side meant that Bullas became available again and coach Ryan Aldridge wasted no time in re-signing one of the league's most exciting young prospects.

"Its great to have Bully back. He finished last year very strong and was a player I wanted to sign again,'' said Aldridge.

"He has just had a hard situation this summer and I know it has left a bad taste in his mouth and is keen to have a great season.

"This makes 10 forwards signed. Boys will have to fight for their spots on the ice and I think that's great for the club and I now have a great selection of players to chose from on any night.''

The Cats pre-season challenge games at the Link start on Wednesday, September 8 at 7.30pm when they face the play-off champions Slough Jets.

On Saturday, September 11, they then take on Premier League new boys Telford Tigers with a 5.45pm face-off. Full details and ticket information can be found on swindonwildcats.com
