The Hellenic Premier Division takes a back seat this weekend with the majority of the league sides taking part in the Complete Music Challenge Cup.

Holders Swindon Supermarine will be trying for the third time to get their first round tie against R S Basingstoke completed. Their first game was abandoned at half time due to the monsoon conditions and their second attempt postponed owing to a waterlogged pitch.

The South Marston side are in a rich vein of form at the moment after victories over Brackley Town, Highworth Town and Harrow Hill all in the space of one week.

Premier leaders Highworth Town, in action in the second round at North Leigh, face a much tougher task and all eyes will be on former Swindon Town boss Jimmy Quinn who is expected to make his debut for the side.

Fairford Town, who have disappointed manager Mark Webb in their last couple of games, will have to be at their best in their away tie with Didcot Town who remain unbeaten in the Premier Division after 12 games and are currently in third spot.

Division One side Purton are in action against Kidlington at the Red House, and the home side must have an excellent chance of registering their first league victory of the season.

There are some interesting looking games in the Premier section of the Skurrays Wiltshire League. Second in the table Cricklade Town who have not kicked a ball for several weeks play Chiseldon Southbrook away.

Stratton Crosslink are at home to Trowbridge Town whose 100 or so followers always add atmosphere to the game.

Shrewton United, in fourth place in the table, eight points behind leaders Devizes Town Reserves with three games in hand, entertain Malmesbury Vics. Devizes play bottom club Marlborough Town.
