Citzens entitled to concessionary travel facilities in Swindon are indebted to councillors Mike Bawden, Nick Martin and Mike Evemy.
They appreciated that freedom of choice in respect of concessionary travel whether by bus, train or taxi, should be retained and were not afraid to say so at the council meeting on November 21.
Those Labour councillors who endeavoured to deprive elderly citizens freedom of choice in respect of concessionary travel should hang their heads in shame.
