North Wiltshire magistrates remanded German lorry driver Erich Lange, 47, in custody until today (Tuesday) charged with aiding the illegal entry of 46 Tamils into the UK on Friday.
The Tamils were seen getting out of a lorry near Salisbury after coming into the country from France via Portsmouth ferry port.
