MAY I draw your attention to the Wednesday, December 5, issue of the Evening Advertiser.
The Swindon Top Ten Overall table contains four schools not within the Swindon local education authority but within Wiltshire LEA. These are Lydiard Millicent, St Sampson's, Ashton Keynes and St Bartholomew's.
I feel that Swindon schools deserve encouragement when mentioned, considering the present educational difficulties.
To correct this table would mean moving up the existing Swindon schools and adding:
6. Peatmoor Primary
8. Holy Rood Catholic Junior
9. Greenmeadow Primary
10. St Mary's Catholic Primary
I know that children from West Swindon go to Lydiard Millicent, but then Swindon children also go to other schools outside the LEA.
