YOUTH FOOTBALL: CHIPPENHAM Town completed the double over Westbury Youth side in the under 11s division of the Wiltshire Times and News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League.

Jamie Harlow (2) and Ricky Fyall gave Chippenham a 3-0 home win over their gallant visitors.

Chippenham Town Rangers proved too strong for Melksham Park B and won 5-0, while Trowbridge Town returned from their game at FC Chippenham with all three points courtesy of a 7-0 win.

Tom Chapman, Jed Osbourne and Chris Tonkiss scored for Bradford on Avon as they held off the challenge of Castle Combe Colts to register a 3-1 victory, with Josh Summers scoring for the visitors.

Under 12s

THE game at Calne Town was the proverbial game of two halves as visitors Frome Collegians shared eight goals and the points with their hosts.

Two goals from Matthew Lewis and another from Ross Crichton gave the home side a 3-0 interval lead. Luke DiMaria grabbed a second half hat-trick to bring the scores level before Jack Trowbridge put the hosts in front yet again.

With time running out James Hounsell scored from the penalty spot to leave honours even.

Bath Arsenal just got the better of visitors Chippenham Town in a five-goal thriller at Lansdown, with Charlie Robinson (2) and Scott Eades scoring the decisive goals.

Matthew Mead and Robert Pearce were the goal scorers for Westbury Youth B as they beat a determined Lavington Boys 5-1.

Under 13s

WHITE Horse Leisure suffered yet another heavy defeat as they went down 14-0 at Pewsey Vale.

Nick Taylor and Matthew Walmsley both scored four times in the total which was made up with goals from Paul Williamson, Billy Flippance, Dean Smart, Tom Hyde, Gareth Robb and an own goal.

Corsham United got off to a gifted start against Lavington Boys when the visitors scored an own goal. Tom Knight followed this with a hat-trick and goals from Jake Marshall and Michael Clarke made up their total before Neil Fletcher grabbed a deserved consolation.

Trowbridge Wanderers recorded their first league win of the campaign when they beat visiting FC Chippenham 4-1. Nick Holton set them on their way and Jason Povey grabbed the rest, with Chris Wicks' goal the only consolation the visitors could manage.

A hat-trick from Nico Inglis was not enough to give Corsham Boys all three points against Chippenham Town but it did earn his side a point. Nathan Phillimore, Daniel Clements and Liam Wiggins scored for the visitors in an entertaining 3-3 draw.

The top of the table clash between Devizes Town and Trowbridge Town ended with the home side recording a 3-1 win, with goals from Patrick Preece, Ricky Franklin and Daniel Sloan, with Kieran Baggs getting the Trowbridge reply.

Calne Town overwhelmed visitors Castle Combe Colts as they ran in nine goals without reply. Adam Johnson (3) led the way and James Elliott and Joe Chaffet both grabbed doubles. The total was completed by Chris Thompson and Chris Macham.

Warminster Hornets got back on to the winning trail with a 7-1 win at Chippenham Town Rangers, who scored through Sam Jones.

Under 14s Blue Division

CASTLE Combe Colts moved six points clear at the top following their 11-0 home win against Durrington Rangers.

Nathan Pritchard (4), Marcus Neil (3), Mike Gwyer (2), Graham Dean and Warren Allison scored for Castle Combe.

Westinghouse Youth ran out 6-0 winners away to Corsham Boys.

Under 14s Red Division

HILPERTON United Youth notched up another point after their thrilling encounter with FC Chippenham.

Hilperton took the lead early on and were 3-1 ahead early in the second half. The game bounced from end to end and with the score at 4-3 to Hilperton, FC Chippenham were awarded a penalty. With the penalty scored and the game at 4-4 the final whistle blew on a very entertaining game.

Paul Robinson, Cameron Henley, Daniel A'Court and John Collins scored for Hilperton, with Jason Tiley (2), Dave Smith and Frazer Shaw-Morris replying for Chippenham.

Under 15s Blue Division

IN their second meeting of the season South Newton once again took the lead against Bath Arsenal.

South Newton hung on to a 1-0 lead until midway through the second half when visitors Bath scored the equaliser through Ashley Isaac.

Isaac went on to complete a hat-trick and with goals from Josh Brigham and Adam Heath Bath took all the points with a 5-1 final score.

The win puts Bath top of the table one point clear of nearest rivals FC Chippenham and with a game in hand.

Under 15s Red Division

JOSH Newbury scored a first-half hat-trick for Trowbridge Town Youth B in their 3-2 away win against Devizes Town Youth.

Devizes went 1-0 up, but were 3-1 down at the break. They then fought hard throughout the second half but it was not enough at the final whistle. Lee Himsworth scored both goals for Devizes.

Shaw and Whitley took the lead with an early goal from Gary Higdon in their home game against Malmesbury Youth. Malmesbury drew level early in the second half but the three points went to Shaw with Higdon adding a second to leave the final score at 2-1 to the home side.

Under 16s Blue Division

FC CHIPPENHAM narrowed the gap at the top of the table to just two points and, with a game in hand, are hot on the heels of leaders Croft Juniors following their 2-1 win against Shaw.

Owen Haskin and Ricky Hulbert scored for Chippenham.

Under 16s Red Division

CALNE Town Youth suffered their biggest defeat of the season away to Amesbury Juniors.

Amesbury took a 5-2 half time lead and finished 10-3 winners. Grant Sutton (5), Luke Harrold (2), Dave Cotter (2) and Tom Weston scored for Amesbury.

Pewsey Vale finished their game against home side Trowbridge FC with just nine men but three points better off. After a very even first half Pewsey went in with a 1-0 advantage through C Bauer. The second half saw Pewsey taking the game to FC but with FC countering well they equalised through Paolo Rosis. Pewsey's pressure finally paid off when with just three to go Bauer scored his second and the winner.

Under 17s

CULLIP and Slater scored one each for Lavington Boys in their 2-1 home win against FC Chippenham.

Lavington's Tom Bishop had a superb game and was extremely unlucky not to get on the score sheet after hitting the bar and upright on several occasions.

Referee Andrew Cowley, from Wootton Bassett, also had a good game.
