The selling agent for John Angel, the owner of the Palace Cinema and Angel Bingo Hall in Devizes, remained tight lipped this week about the future of the building. Michael Taylor refused to talk to the Gazette and Herald but both the bingo hall and cinema remain open,
Last week Mr Taylor, of Warwick based Raymond Clarke Productions, told a Gazette reporter who posed as a prospective buyer that the cinema and bingo hall were up for sale at a combined price of £750,000.
