PERSIMMON Homes has refused a request by Malmesbury Town Coun-cil to give over land for a skateboard park as part of a development of five houses overlooking Morse Close. Persimmon has told the town council that the area planned for development is designated open space.
To build on it, the developer has to offer something in return. The developer said that the skateboard park represented compensation.
The application will be discussed by the planning committee on Tuesday.
