HOW many men does it take to change a light bulb? Or in west Wiltshire, how long does it take?
For the last month, either myself or my neighbour have phoned Clarence on 0800 232323 to report a street light not working at the back of our houses. To date, no action has been taken. To make matters worse we have, less than 200 yards away, a street light blazing away in broad daylight!
Does Clarence care? Who is Clarence anyway? Why not cut out the gimmicks, Wiltshire County Council, and concentrate your resources on getting the jobs done? Surely "seven working days" is just too long to change a light bulb!
