ADAM WILLIS will spend tomorrow afternoon keeping close tabs on the man who scored in Town's last win over the Terriers.

One of the few bright spots during a miserable 1999-2000 campaign was Town's 2-0 win over then promotion-chasing Huddersfield in March.

Chris Hay netted Town's second that night, shortly before he swapped Wiltshire for West Yorkshire.

While Hay has not managed to recapture the form that he showed at the County Ground, Willis knows his old mate is more than capable of causing problems.

He said: "Chris was a smashing lad when he was here. It'll be good to see him again.

"Hopefully he won't have any reason to celebrate on Saturday.

"But we have to watch out for the backlash again.

"We went to QPR after they had been thrashed in the FA Cup by Swansea and look what happened.

"Huddersfield got hammered by Mansfield last week in the cup so we have to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again.

"But the lads are all pretty determined and want to start picking up league points again."

Willis is anxious for another decent display as he knows Andy Gurney's suspension will be up after the Terriers' clash and Alan Reeves is not too far off a comeback. The former Coventry City man knows there is no such thing as a guaranteed place in Roy Evans' side.

He said: "I think the longest run I've had in the side since I arrived at Swindon has been 12 or 13 games.

"You really want a decent run and show the manager what you're capable of on a regular basis.

"It's nice to be know that the gaffer trusts you to come in and do a job but as a player you want to be in contention for every match."
