LADIES FOOTBALL: FOUR goals from Kay Quantick helped Chippenham demolish Chiseldon on Sunday as they continued their push for the Wiltshire County Ladies League title.
Ella Martin set the home side on their way to the resounding victory, scoring her first goals for the club on 18 and 33 minutes.
Chippenham put the game beyond their visitors with a devastating five-goal burst in the final six minutes of the half.
Leah Painter made it three after a fine solo run, before Becky Prangley made it four moments later. Martin was then brought down in the area two minutes before the break, giving Quantick the chance to score her first from the spot.
Charlotte Johnson took the interval lead to seven goals with a quickfire brace in stoppage time.
Everson and Quantick added further goals before the dismissal of Chiseldon's Emma Williams just past the hour mark.
The home side took full advantage of their player advantage with Everson and Quantick helping themselves to two more apiece, while Painter grabbed her second in the 79th minute.
Chiseldon's woes continued in the final minutes when Cara Stacey became the second visiting player to receive a red card.
