Former Swindon Town midfielder Darren Bullock has been sacked by home town club Worcester City after disciplinary problems.
The Dr Martens Premier Division outfit terminated Bullock's contract after the fiery midfielder was sent off for violent conduct last Tuesday.
It was the controversial midfielder's second red card in six games.
Bullock lashed out at Stafford Rangers star Craig Lovatt breaking his nose with his elbow.
Worcester boss John Barton insisted the decision was purely down to disciplinary reasons.
He said: "There is no way that anybody is going to represent this football club in that manner.
"We have reacted in the correct and proper manner, we have shown positive management and dealt with the situation as best as we could."
Bullock started his career at Huddersfield before moving to the County Ground when then boss Steve McMahon bought him for £400,000. He went on to make 66 appearances for Town before joining Bury.
He moved to Worcester after a single season at second division Bury.
