EVENING Advertiser Bride of the Year Lucy Griffin has been spoiled for choice over the flowers for her wedding.

For the seventh year, staff at George Lesley Flowers in Cricklade Road are offering their skill, advice and blooms to the winning bride.

The florists have been helping Lucy, 20, and fianc Neil Zerebecki, 23, to select the best blooms.

Lucy, who won the £8,000 Bride of the Year wedding package last November, said: "I have never had to choose flowers on this scale before, so I will be taking the advice of the staff at George Lesley."

The 20-year-old receptionist has a good idea of the look she is going for.

She said: "I don't want to give too much away, but I will be going for a more traditional look.

"I am wanting the colours of the flowers to match the bridesmaids' dresses.

"When people see everything together at the wedding I want them to think that it looks lovely."

The blooms on offer at the shop range from bouquets of roses to clusters of African violets.

The couple, who live in Osprey Close, Covingham, have been busy getting their wedding organised. Lucy said: "I am hoping to get the majority of things organised by May."

The wedding will be on August 2 at St Andrew's Church in Wanborough.
