STORE manager Andrew Windram has received a prestigious award from the British Hardware Federation.
Mr Windram, 33, store manager of Robert Dyas in Borough Parade, was rewarded for his outstanding achievement. He joined the Borough Parade branch at the end of last year as store manager and store group manager, and since then has found time to study for one of the British Hardware Federation's Steps to Excellence courses.
He was rewarded with a certificate and £25 voucher for his success.
"I'm really pleased to be given this extra award. I wanted to do well on the course to increase my knowledge so I could offer my customers a better service," he said. "This award is just an added bonus."
The courses improves staff knowledge and to encourage customer service and communication.
