Swindon TV star Melinda Messenger is soon to host her own live talk show.

And the programme producers have asked people from the Swindon area to be part of the studio audience.

Called Loose Lips, the first programme will be aired on Monday, March 31.

Melinda will co-present the show with GMTV's Richard Arnold.

The programme will air five days a week at 2pm on the satellite channel Living TV. The hour-long show is planned to contain a mixture of entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle and consumer features and an omnibus show will be on at weekends.

The first series of 100 shows will run until mid August. The programme is aimed at women aged between 16 and 34. Among the topics for the first week will be celebrity DNA and adoption, and the dangers of tanning addiction.

The studio audience will be encouraged to get involved in the show, to ask questions and give their views about the topics discussed.

The first celebrity to appear on the programme will be the former Eastenders actress Patsy Palmer.

Melinda, who lives in Wanborough with husband Wayne and her two children, said: "I think I have just found my TV soulmate. Richard Arnold and I could talk for hours about everything from botox to the latest celebrity gossip.

"Sadly LivingTV have only given us an hour so the chatting may have to continue long after the cameras have stopped rolling."

To be part of the audience at the Chiswick Studios, participants must be over 16-years-old. Call 07952 727250 or visit the website for more information.
