WILTSHIRE face Somerset and Oxfordshire this weekend in two friendly matches which will double up as Middleton Cup trial games.

They visit Bath today to play Somerset and then travel tomorrow to Banbury to face Oxfordshire.

A total of 47 players have been selected for the two trials with only three of them featuring on both days.

They are Graham Hatherall (Westlecot), Dave Snell (Wootton Bassett) and Russell Francis (Spencer Moulton) who will play as number threes today against Somerset but will skip a rink tomorrow at Banbury.

Sixteen Wiltshire clubs will be represented in the trials with Westlecot supplying 15 of the players. Next best are Wootton Bassett with six players and Spencer Moulton (Bradford on Avon) with five.

The team for the final Middleton Cup trial against Hampshire on Sunday May 18 at Wootton Bassett will be selected following the matches against Somerset and Oxfordshire.
