A TRIAL franchise agreement has been signed between local removal company Easymove of Swindon Ltd and international removal specialists Bishop's Move.
Easymove has been moving businesses in Swindon for 16 years from its depot on the Marshgate Trading Estate. The agreement means the company can build new business throughout Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Director Lee Chamberlain said: "This is an exciting venture which we are confident will help us move into new markets.
"Bishop's Move are specialists in premium removals within the domestic market, an area which we are keen to expand into.
"With more and more companies relocating to the Swindon area, there is huge scope for expanding our business."
Bishop's Move managing director Nigel Bishop said: "We see franchising as a mutually beneficial development.
"It means a higher turnover of quality business for the franchisees plus the advantages that stem from operating under the established name of Bishop's Move."
