THE latest cabinet to run the borough of Swindon has been revealed.
It is to be hoped that there will be a period of much-needed stability in which people from all points in the political spectrum work together for the common good.
But what of we, the people? We have no way of knowing what the future will bring, but we should all keep one point uppermost in our minds.
It is our council, but it will not necessarily do our bidding unless we tell it what that bidding is.
Without public feedback, there can be no effective democracy.
