WOMEN who have had an abortion can get support from The Sycamore Centre in Devizes.

Two volunteers at the centre have just completed a training course and are qualified to offer support to women and their partners.

Alison North, administrator at The Sycamore Centre, said: "Our two volunteers can offer help to clients experiencing difficulties following abortion, however long ago, to be able to express their feelings and move on.

"This support is free and appointments are available by calling our number on (07762) 382913."

The Sycamore Centre is in the Estcourt Room, Estcourt Street, Devizes and is open on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm when people can drop in.

It is open on other days but appointments must be made.

The centre opened nearly two years ago and it offers free pregnancy testing and a confidential listening service for women and their partners.

Volunteers and friends of the centre are holding a fundraising table top sale in The Brittox on Saturday, and a ten- mile sponsored walk.
