THE combined U15s side rounded their season off with a win in a curtain-raiser for the senior county match taking place between Dorset/Wilts and Oxford.
With several players absent through injury, the visitors coped well with some positional changes and took the lead when flanker Alex Britton touched down and Scott Simmons converted.
The combined pack secured excellent ball with superior rucking and mauling technique and extended their advantage when Simmons ran round the home defence for a try and converted himself.
Some magnificent defence by backs and forwards alike kept the hosts at bay in the second half and the outcome was put beyond doubt when Raf Whitcher squeezed over in the corner for an unconverted try.
