LONGLEAZE School A team won the North Wiltshire Primary Schools Tag Rugby Festival, held at Wootton Bassett Rugby Club.
Nine schools from Malmesbury, Chippenham and the Wootton Bassett area took part in a keenly-contested event last Thursday.
The competition saw the teams divided into two groups and Longleaze A team won all their pool matches before winning the final by six tries to two.
The victorious team included Gareth Evans, Becki Brierley, George Dent, James Dent, Daniel Ponting, Joe Soden, Greg Davies, Charlotte Whittenbury and Natalie White.
Longleaze B team also did well. They finished second in their group and drew two tries each in the third and fourth placed play-off match.
