If you fancy going to a dog show, pop along to Coate Water next month. The Swindon and District RSPCA has organised the canine competition on July 6.
Swindon mayor Derek Benfield will open the show at 12.15pm which will include many classes, including the dog with the waggiest tail, the prettiest bitch and the best junior dog handler.
A special Dog of the Year heat is also planned and dogs entered in this class must be rescue dogs. An agility display for owners to demonstrate their dogs athletic skill will also form part of the canine festivities.
