I AM appalled by the way Swindon Borough Council (Bulk Waste Collection) staff treat the residents of this town. Quick to take the collection fee, long on collecting.
When I rang several times to enquire about the delay I got number one excuse "It will be done today (this was on May 29), they work until 6pm.
Number two is "they will definitely collect today." Number three "They may collect today our regular man is not in so may be tomorrow." (by now it was May 31).
These shallow excuses just don't wash any more. I am over 70 years old and have had to drag a double bed mattress in and out three times now.
Very poor service at 15 per cent per annum you must agree.
