FOLLOWING the recent debacle when a Continental market in Devizes turned out to have only three stalls, Devizes Development Partnership has cancelled one due to take place next month.
Organiser Alex Duffey said: "I thought it best to forget the markets for this year and start 2004 afresh. Hopefully the memory of the last one will have faded by then."
The previous market date co-incided with one in Taunton and the majority of stallholders went there.
