THE Devizes branch of the Royal British Legion celebrated its 80th anniversary last week by planting a tree on the Green.
Devizes Mayor Paula Winchcombe, joined branch chairman Herbert Brothers in planting the tree, a red oak, and unveiling a memorial stone and plaque. She paid tribute to the hard work of members and congratulated them on reaching the milestone.
