Ref. 25816-32ALFIE the Adver Alligator brought a smile to children's faces at the Great Western Hospital.
The Evening Advertiser's new mascot was on one of his monthly visits to the children's ward.
As well as handing out goody bags, the cuddly reptile had a hug for anybody that needed cheering up.
The goodies were donated by Batley's Cash and Carry at the Blagrove Industrial Estate in Swindon. The company sells a variety of goods including groceries, fresh meat and vegetables, cigarettes, alcohol, pet foods and accessories.
