CHRISTMAS might be a long way off but one of the town's premier tourist attractions has unveiled details of how to book your party in a unique venue.
Steam Museum is giving yuletide revellers the chance to enjoy dinner in the shadow of the Caerphilly Castle steam train or take drinks in its 1930s buffet car.
With summer well underway it might seem a long way off but the museum, in Kemble Drive, is advising people to book early to secure their spot.
Packages are available for groups of 60 to 120 people at the venue from December 6 to 20, with prices starting at £26.99 per head.
After enjoying a three-course meal guests can take to the dance floor overlooking the museum's exhibits.
Customers can choose from packaged events such as a murder mystery evening or casino night, and add special features like a magician or a rifle range.
