CHARTERED surveyor Edward Martin has swapped the hustle and bustle of London for the rural delights of West Dean.
Now, he says, his dream of the perfect work/life balance has come true with his appointment to the asset management team of international property consultants King Sturge, in Southampton.
"The opportunity to work for King Sturge was too good to miss," he said.
"Now I'm getting the best of both worlds living in a marvellous part of the country and working for a well-respected and dynamic firm with a terrific portfolio of clients."
Those clients include the Church Commissioners and Prudential.
Mr Martin, who is married with two sons, has previously worked for Knight Frank and Strutt & Parker.
He said: "What attracted me to King Sturge was the firm's reputation for professionalism and integrity.
"There is also potential for growth in the southern region and I hope to expand and develop our client base here."
