Ref. 26191-19MARY Collingborn has been celebrating her 100th birthday just months after friend Dorothy Roberts turned 100 in April.
They both live at the Grove Hill Residential Home in High-worth.
A telegram from the Queen made it a day to remember for Mrs Collingborn. She was visited by friends and family, having lived in Highworth work- ing as a farmer for all her working life.
Her daughter Marjorie Painter said her mother and her late father, Ted, had farmed at Grove, near Wan-tage, before moving to Fun-nells Farm, Highworth.
Singer Alison Dawn entertained the home's 27 residents and Mrs Collingborn's doctor Jennifer Metcalfe, a GP at the Westrop Surgery, paid a visit.
Irene Ockwell, senior carer at Grove Hill, said: "Mary was delighted with all of the attention she received. She was particularly pleased with the telegram from the Queen."
Mrs Collingborn has two daughters, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
