SORTIMO International, of Old Sarum, has won the contract to supply and install its in-vehicle linings and storage systems into an Essex company's new fleet.
"Sortimo's price, availability and ability to develop and evolve the specifications quickly for our requirements was the decider," said Martin Armstrong of Gilbarco Veeder-RootTM.
The first 75 of Gilbarco's 178 Vauxhall Vivaro service and installation vehicles were fitted on-site in Basildon. The rest are being installed at Sortimo's headquarters.
The vehicles have been fitted with system shelving, base units with slide out vice, top trays with dividers and non-rattle mats, inverters and twin sockets.
Gilbarco Veeder-RootTM is a leading supplier of fuel dispensing equipment, fully integrated point of sale systems and back office accounting systems for the petroleum market.
