SWINDON Supermarine boss Ray Baverstock has warned his troops not to get 'carried away' following their opening day win against Gresley Rovers.

A late Chris Copp goal handed Marine a 2-1 victory and propelled them into the top six of the embryonic Western Division table.

But a trip to Taunton is on the agenda this evening and Baverstock is keen to keep his players' feet on the ground.

"It's very early days yet," he said. "We should not be getting carried away at this stage.

"Taunton will be a difficult game. We won there last season but they have a few new faces and it isn't going to be easy.

"The aim is to keep a clean sheet if we do we are guaranteed to get something from the game. It's important that we carry on from Saturday and keep improving."

Bavertstock has no injury problems so an unchanged side seems probable for the journey to Somerset.

A former fans' favourite returns to Hardenhuish Park tonight when Chippenham entertain Tiverton in the Dr Martens Premier Division but it's probably not the man you expect.

Ex-Bluebird Nathan Rudge misses the chance to lock horns with his old mates through suspension, but Shane Andrews does make a return for Chippenham.

Andrews bid an emotional farewell to the Town faithful in May to return to his Screwfix League roots with Brislington.

But an early Bluebirds injury crisis has prompted Tommy Saunders to re-sign the versatile defender as cover.

Gareth Davies misses this evening's game after sustaining a rib injury in the 1-1 draw at Nuneaton on Saturday.

Midfielders Mark Badman and Gary Horgan are also carrying knocks, so Simon Charity returns to the starting 11 and Nathan Edwards is in line for his full debut.

IN the Hellenic Premier Division, Fairford will be keen to avoid slipping up against minnows Bicester in the same manner as Highworth did at the weekend.

Carl Stevenson (hamstring) is the only injury doubt.

In Division One West, Shrivenham will hand a debut to Vinny Parker for the trip to Cheltenham Saracens.

Hosts Purton start as favourites in the derby with Malmesbury Vics, and Cirencester United travel to Ross.
