G Scott has a touching faith in the justice system.

Juries can only consider the evidence in front of them. As a result of the activities of a corrupt detective, a man was imprisoned for the murder of a businessman. The national newspapers reported on July 28 the detective is in jail.

The man was fitted up by the detective described as having acted like a seasoned fraudster.

The same detective, a policeman for 26 years diverted police funds into a building society fund. The case is under review.

In 1970 two men were convicted of murder as a result of untrue evidence. The detective was jailed for eight years.

Sadly neither man lived to know their names were cleared.

These are just two cases where men and possibly women might have been hanged wrongly.

Hardly any murders in Japan? A man is about to be brought to trial there for 27 murders.

Japan has about 200 violent deaths per year. The USA has capital punishment in many States and in the late 1980s it had the highest rate of murder in the world.

Capital punishment does not prevent murder.

G Scott can find the evidence of any number of web sites or in newspapers and journals.
