POLICE are hoping to contact a man who witnessed a serious night-time assault in Trowbridge.
The man, who was wearing a red T-shirt with the number 10 in white letters on the front, was in Fore Street at midnight on Thursday when the attack took place.
A 30-year-old Trowbridge man suffered a double break of the nose, a dislocated shoulder and facial bruising during the incident.
The assault was caught on CCTV cameras in the town centre.
Insp Jon Tapper of Trowbridge police said: "We are appealing for this witness to come forward. This is an example of how CCTV has made a difference to police work."
A 19 year-old man and a 21-year-old woman have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm. They were due to appear before Trowbridge magistrates yesterday.
