FEMALE wrestlers are getting to grips with each other in a Trowbridge strip-fest this month.

Two grappling girls will fight down to their underwear at the Civic Hall next Friday but promoters have billed the evening as a family night.

The all-female bout is a UK first and the loser will be the one who gets stripped down first.

Sue Humphreys, from Ultimate Championship Wrestling, said: "It's just a bit of fun and good entertainment.

"The male wrestling has proved very popular. We have kids coming down with banners and it's a real family treat."

Also on the bill are male wrestlers Hostile, American All Star and the Gangster, with four titles up for grabs.

Tickets cost £5 and there are discounts for group bookings.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets can be bought on the night.
