SWINDON Supermarine tasted a rare league defeat on Wednesday night and boss Ray Baverstock is determined not to make a habit of it.

A 4-1 loss at Taunton was a shock to the system and the first reverse they have experienced in the Dr Martens Western Division since last March.

Now Baverstock wants his troops to bounce back at Solihull Borough tomorrow before the derby clash with Cirencester at Hunts Copse on Monday afternoon.

Baverstock said: "We defended badly and were the victims of some dodgy decisions on Wednesday, but that said we could have scored four goals ourselves.

"Now it's important we get the Taunton blues out of our system and a good result at Solihull will set us up nicely for the Ciren game.

"It's a big test for us and hopefully we can get back to winning ways."

Baverstock has a full squad to choose from again, and may keep faith in the 11 that started in Somerset.

In-form Chris Copp should keep his place at right wing-back, leaving Dave Gee sent off after two first-half bookings at Taunton to take his place in midfield before his suspension kicks in.

n CIRENCESTER will also be aiming to rediscover their winning touch at home to Sutton Coldfield following an unfortunate 2-1 defeat to Mangotsfield on Tuesday.

For the second game in succession, numerous chances went begging but manager Brian Hughes expects his much-vaunted strike force to find some form.

He said: "We were chasing the game against Mangotsfield after going 2-0 down and we wasted loads of chances. It's just not happening for the forwards at the moment but it will come."

Sutton Coldfield will not prove a pushover though, after a surprisingly bright start to the season has seen the midlanders win two out of two.

"You never quite know what to expect from these sides but it won't be easy," said Hughes. "We're just looking to bounce back after Tuesday because that knocked our confidence a bit."

Keith O'Halloran returns to the side after playing for Swindon's reserves in midweek but Darren Robison remains sidelined with a knee injury. Hughes will bolster his ranks further when Tony Hopkins re-signs after spells with Weston and Clevedon.
