Chiseldon Castrol received a boost in midweek with a 2-0 away win over Malmesbury Vics and manager Graham Clements is looking forward to entertaining Pewsey Vale this weekend, writes RAY BURROUGHS.

"It will be good to get back to back wins, something we haven't done for quite a while," said the Castrol boss.

"A couple of wins on the trot would be a great confidence booster for the club."

Cricklade boss Graham Jackson was also pleased with his side's 2-0 win over Wroughton in midweek and said: "The league is open and if we can string a few results together you never know.

"Corsham are our opponents this weekend and we managed to beat them twice last season so we are hopeful."

Purton Reserves, who beat AFC Stratton in midweek by a solitary goal, host Biddestone.

The visitors are unbeaten in three and it could prove to be a tough test for the Red House side.

Aldbourne, who got off to an indifferent start, are at home to Shrewton United Reserves and could do with a victory to get them into top gear, although the reserve side enjoyed a 6-0 win over their Wroughton counterparts in Junior Division One this week.

AFC Stratton visit Trowbridge and after their midweek defeat at Purton they will be looking for a result.

Undefeated Warminster are at home to Marlborough Town who have enjoyed a successful start to the season.

Match of the day in Junior Division Two is the clash between New College and Trax.

West Swindon visit unbeaten Clarendon & Tidworth and Green Baize are at home to Blunsdon United Reserves.
