Understrength Calne secured a respectable draw at First Division high flyers Hallen.

The Bremhill View club were missing Ben Highmore, Ben Moore and key striker Glen Armstrong the subject of an approach from Melksham, but a resolute defensive display forced a goalless stalemate.

New Hallen signing Benji Tricker went closest to breaking the deadlock when his long-range effort just cleared the bar but Calne had chances too, with James Lye's 20-yard drive pushed wide by the home keeper.

Calne boss Kelvin Highmore said: "Before the game I would have settled for a point.

"We were superb in defence and we created a few chances of our own and could have won it in the end."

Elsewhere in the First Division, Corsham extended their unbeaten run to four with a 3-0 home win over Larkhall.

Frankie Coleman opened the scoring on 22 minutes before setting up Dave Kilmurray to double the lead.

Man-of-the-match Coleman added a third with a 20-yard drive five minutes from time.

In the Premier Division, Melksham's 1-0 win at Odd Down lifts then into 14th a place above local rivals Devizes.
