New College slipped to a disappointing 5-1 home defeat to Bath City in their South West Counties clash.
Ashley Whitbread had a goal disallowed and John Edmonds struck the bar before Bath took the lead on 44 minutes.
In the 62nd minute, recent signing Matt Chamberlain levelled with a drive from the edge of the box.
But New College were behind again immediately from the kick-off and conceded two more within a short spell.
A fifth was scored in the 88th minute.
College entertain Forest Green on Saturday at the Supermarine Sports Ground, (11am).
