WOOTTON Bassett have sent a host of young players for county and divisional trials.
Two players, Karl Brant and Daniel David, attended South West trials, following a successful County programme with Dorset and Wilts.
The club was also represented at county level by Jon Aston and Ollie Gray.
Bassett have also had Ben Lyons as part of the Dorset & Wilts Under 18 Schools squad while Duncan Fulling represented Scottish Exiles under 19s in the final Scottish Trials.
Bassett fielded four under 15s, Simon Hutchings, Rhys Cadogan, Rob Brown and Chris Williams, in the under 16s side that thrashed Southampton Trojans 47-0.
Trojans were blown away in the first-half by a tremendous performance of running rugby in atrocious conditions.
