SWINDON Opera is planning a production of The Merry Widow next spring.
Tonight from 7.30pm to 9.30pm it is holding auditions for principal singers at Lainesmead School in South View Avenue, Walcot. Anyone who can't make tonight can also try out on Wednesday, December 3.
The society would welcome new members for either the chorus or to take leading roles. Rehearsals take place at Lainesmead on Wednesdays between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
