ANDY KING will ring the changes for Saturday's trip to Brentford as he tries to get the club's spluttering play-off push back on track.

A flat back four will be in operation at Griffin Park as the Town boss looks to stop his side leaking both goals and points.

Town have shipped six in their last three games, claiming just a single point in the process.

The change in shape will mean disappointment for certain players but King makes no apologies for the fresh approach.

He said: "I've analysed things and decided I will make changes for the game at Brentford.

"I have faith in my players to get the better of the opposition but we have to get back to being solid and not losing games.

"There will be a change of system and a change in personnel.

"There are options in that I could go 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or even 4-5-1 but, whatever, I think it will mean four at the back.

"We are conceding too many goals and I'm just getting a little bit annoyed that what was achievable is slipping away from us a little bit.

"We need to get it back on track very quickly.

"I can't keep sitting here though and saying that. We have to start doing it.

"My job is to pick the team that can do it because that's how I'm judged.

"There's no reason why we shouldn't be winning games. As I keep saying, I'm fed up of managers complimenting my team as they take a point from us, sometimes all three. It's driving me insane."

The three substitutes involved against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday look poised to make the starting XI at Griffin Park.

King said: "Rory Fallon, Brian Howard and Andy Nicholas will come into my thinking for the weekend."

All three have impressed the manager with their respective recent contributions Howard and Fallon combined to set up Town's first goal against Plymouth and at least two of the young trio are likely to start on Saturday.

Meanwhile, King has expressed pleasure that Town will have a fixture on January 3, with Bournemouth the visitors to the County Ground.

He said: "Accrington Stanley's win over them means we have a game that weekend and I'm pleased about that. I'll be happier still if we get three points from it."
