The league clocked up its 1,000th competitive fixture in its inaugural season at the weekend.

Despite a week of bad weather, 75 per cent of fixtures went ahead on Sunday with the League Cup competitions taking centre stage.

Under 16

League leaders Liden Community kept on track for a possible treble with a 5-0 home win against Malmesbury which sees them through to the League Cup semi-final.

Devon Brown struck twice for Liden with further goals being added by Lewis Hill, Leigh Brown and Joe Stevens. They are joined in the last four by Stratton Juniors who returned to winning ways with a 5-1 success against Cirencester.

Stratton's goals were scored by Sam Willard (2), Aaron Lockyear (2) and Dale Fulton. Shaw B are also through following an 11-1 win at Sherbourne.

Adam Legg and Dan Hiscocks both hit hat-tricks, Sam Wilson two and Kristian Howell, Scott Scanlon and Bruno Pileggi one each.

Stablemates Shaw A complete the semi-final line-up as they also hit 11 at home against Fairford.

Shaw's scorers were Craig Dixon (3), Bradley Gill (2), Kyle Leith (2), Richard Bodman, Bradley Clark, Bobby Hunt and Mark King.

Under 15

Just two matches were played in the under 15 competition. The big game of the day was at Mitel where Stratton Juniors edged out Shaw 3-2 .

Stratton went two up with goals from Lee Curtis and Rory Sproule only to see Danny Mastalerz rifle home on the stroke of half-time.

Stratton upped the tempo following the break but it took until midway through the second half for them to break through again with Curtis netting his second.

Shaw were not finished and following good work on the right Jason Lincoln slotted home from close range to ensure an edgy final few minutes for Stratton.

In the other quarter-final played, Ferndale Rodbourne had a more comfortable win, 4-1, over Brunel Boys, with Michael Yeates and Stephen Gray among the scorers.

Under 14

Wroughton had goalkeeper James Moore to thank for their passage into the semi-finals of the cup.

Moore made a series of outstanding saves in the first half to keep visitors Eastville out and the teams turned around with the score goalless at the break.

Eastville drew first blood in the second period when James Chandler broke through and smashed an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box past Moore. Eastville increased their lead shortly afterwards, forcing Wroughton into a series of substitutions to try and get back into the match.

With 12 minutes remaining substitute Ollie McNeil headed home for Wroughton from a corner before Adam Burson lobbed an equaliser.

Burson then scored his second with four minutes to go to put Wroughton through.

They are joined in the hat by Westbrook, who defeated Greenmeadow 2-1 courtesy of Josh Digby and Matthew Hobbs.

The Subsidiary Cup Division 1 group matches also got underway with a classic encounter at Croft where the home side shared eight goals with visitors Fairford.

All the goals came in the first half.

Croft went in front through Lee Robins before Fairford's Tom Lander took over, hitting a hat-trick to put his side 3-1 up.

Another goal from Robins narrowed the deficit but Lander added his fourth, all four of his goals having come in an eight minute spell. Another goal from Robins completed his hat-trick and Joe Herbert ensured a share of the points for Croft.

Under 14

Highworth Town made sure of at least runners-up spot in Division Two with a 4-3 home win over Shaw.

Highworth's scorers were Bobby Amos (2) and Carl Leppard (2).

The title decider is next week when Highworth must win at Stratton Youth.

In the Subsidiary Cup, Walcot Wanderers kept up their excellent record with a comprehensive 9-0 win at Blunsdon Colts.

Jack Lumsden led the way with a hat-trick, Ezikiel Wardale added two and the others came from James Stares, Nick Mitchell, Ben Wilson and Sadiq Miah.

Under 13

Westlea Wanderers and Eastville Boys are safely through to the semi-finals of the knockout cup, Eastville defeating Devizes Town 4-0 and Westlea going one better at Stratton Juniors, hitting five without reply.

In the other tie played, Brunel Boys caused something of an upset, defeating Highworth Juniors 4-1 withtwo goals apiece for Dane Tregoning and Lee Beale.

In Division Two, Shaw closed the gap on leaders Fairford with a comprehensive 7-1 win at Wroughton.

Ferndale Rodbourne were 5-0 winners at Stratton Youth with Chris Avery, Ashley Taylor, Steve Hall, Joe Rees and Jordan Murray on target.

Under 12

The two teams at the top of the under 12 Division One table both progressed to the semi-finals of the cup.

Amesbury Sports dominated their match with Croft Juniors and triumphed 10-0, while Chris Spink and Kieran O'Driscoll scored the two goals for Lydiard Youth in their win at Shaw.

A goal 30 seconds from time also booked a semi-final berth for Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas who beat Malmesbury 4-3.

Two goals for Jordan McGovern, including the last-gasp winner, plus strikes from Nathan Gambling and Daley Ashman handed Ferndale the win.

Old Town United Cubs clung onto top spot in Division Two with a narrow 2-1 win at Swindon Badgers, Luke Robinson scoring Badgers' consolation goal.

Stratton Juniors kept on their heels with a 7-0 success at Minety.

Stratton Youth moved up into fourth with an 8-1 home win over Highworth Juniors, a brace for Steve Larner, Kyle Outram, Harry Seager and Lewis Hathaway in this one. In the other match played, Blunsdon Colts were 5-1 winners over Shrivenham & Watchfield, Kousike Sasaki (2), Zach Ockwell, Danny Lardner and Chris Walker netting.

Under 11

Blunsdon Colts march on at the top of the North Division, their latest success a 3-1 home victory over Avonvale United.

Their 10th successive win opened an eight-point gap at the top of the table.

Jason Cash hit two for Blunsdon, with Tino Fiore adding a third.

Stratton Juniors Orange consolidated third position with a 8-1 home success over Purton.

Nathan Richens led the way with four goals, Morgan Owen (2), Jeremy Marsh (2) and an Aaron Webb penalty completing the rout.

Cricklade Youth and Fairford shared six goals, Dean Uzzell (2) and Chris Dye the Cricklade scorers.

Central leaders Croft Juniors suffered their first league defeat of the season when Stratton Juniors Gold triumphed 2-1, Henry Finnegen scoring Croft's consolation goal.

Brunel Boys closed the gap at the top to two points with a 4-0 away win at AFC Swindon. In the other match played, Liden Community defeated Old Town United 5-2.

Under 10 Cup

Highworth Juniors kept on track for a league and cup double with a 4-0 Evening Advertiser Cup win over Minety.

Star of the show was Sam Farr who hit a hat-trick in the first 10 minutes, David Groom added the fourth.

Stratton Juniors were also quarter-final winners, defeating Wootton Bassett Town 3-0 at Meadowcroft.

Stratton claimed the opening goal after 15 minutes with Nathan Lee scoring.

Sam Brown capped a fine performance with Stratton's second and Ben Karn sealed the win.

Goals from Jack Grierson and Ben Saunders gave Fairford A a narrow 2-1 win against previously unbeaten Croft Juniors and they are joined in the semi-final by Purton, 1-0 winners at FC Abbey Meads.

Blunsdon Colts were unable to close the gap on Highworth Juniors in the North Division, going down 3-1 at home to Lydiard Youth. Ashton Keynes had a welcome win, defeating bottom club Cricklade Youth 5-1.

In the only game played in the West Division, Wroughton moved within a point of leaders Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas with a 3-1 win at Marlborough. Adam Godwin scored twice for Wroughton with George Bouverir-Brine adding the third.

Central Division Old Town United were the top scorers of the day with a 14-3 success at Penhill Allstars.

Eddie Herbert led the way with five goals, Declan Wilson and Zach Martinez both weighed in with hat-tricks, while Jack Manton hit two and Chris Dixon one.

Cameron Hayes (2) and Daniel Walton replied for the Allstars.

In the other match played in the division, Cirencester Juniors Colts defeated Eldene Rangers 5-2, Alec Powell scoring a hat-trick and one each for William Power and Josh Baker.

Under 9

There was little to choose between any of the sides in the three Evening Advertiser Cup quarter-final matches to survive the weather.

Two went to penalties, with Robins winning 4-3 in a shoot-out against Stratton after scores were tied at 1-1 after extra-time.

It was a similar story at Ferndale Rodbourne where the Pumas and Purton were level at one apiece.

Purton held their nerve from the spot to also win 4-3.

In the other match played, Ashton Keynes defeated Westbrook 3-2 to join Puron and Robins in the semi-final draw.

North Division leaders Cirencester Juniors dropped their first points of the season, drawing 2-2 at Uffington.

Scorers for Cirencester were Jack Smith and Jack Milner, while Uffington's goals came from Ben Richards.

Stratton Youth hit 10 goals against Highworth Juniors.

Both Jack Ayres and Michael Cannon hit hat-tricks for the Cirencester side, with Matthew Rose and Joe Tambini also netting two each.

Highworth's consolation goal was scored by Freddie Elton. Highworth Town West were unable to take advantage of the slip up by leaders Cirencester, drawing 1-1 with Lydiard Youth B.

Alex Hillier scored for Lydiard and Fraser Evans for Highworth.

In the battle at the bottom of the table, Cricklade Cubs were 1-0 winners over Coleshill Juniors.

Greenmeadow picked up three useful points in the West Division, with a 6-1 home success against Shaw. Matthew Jones led the way with a hat-trick, Karl Lewington hit two and Jack Townsend also netted for Greenmeadow.
