MID-WILTS YOUTH AND MINOR LEAGUE: DEVIZES Town came from a goal down to gain a 3-2 away win over Westbury Youth in the under 16s Red Division of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League.

Andy Drake put Westbury Youth in the lead, but Ray King brought the game level before Ashley Edwards regained the lead for the visitors at the break.

Just after the restart Devizes increased their lead to 3-1 then held out until late in the game when Matthew Norris pulled one back leaving the final score at 3-2 to Devizes.

Warminster Highbury edged the first half of their game against visitors Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds with a single goal from Jonathan Nolan.

Tom Ford doubled their lead before Trowbridge replied to make it 2-1. Highbury almost put the game out of reach for Trowbridge but were denied from the penalty spot with a magnificent save from the Trowbridge goalkeeper. Trowbridge continued to seek the equaliser but the final whistle blew at 2-1 to Highbury.

Under 16s Blue Division

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth suffered their first defeat of the season when they went down 3-2 to Shaw and Whitley.

After dominating play for much of the first half Cricklade come in 2-0 down against AFC Corsham United as defensive frailties were once again exposed.

Second half goals from Joey Dorey and Jon Smith were not enough as Corsham scored on the break and defended stoutly to take the points.

Chippenham Town Rangers dominated most of the possession and territory in their home game against Bath Arsenal resulting in a great team performance which saw them run out 4-0 winners.

Darren Holcombe, Luke Holborough, Josh Forester and Nathan Ingall scored for Rangers.

With the leaders dropping points, Bemerton Heath narrowed the gap at the top of the table after running out 3-1 winners away to local rivals Amesbury Juniors. Marvin Brown (2) and Matthew Cox scored for Bemerton, with David Sage replying for Amesbury.

Under 15s Blue Division

IN a well mannered match Westbury Youth took a half-time lead of 2-0 against Marlborough Town.

Marlborough started the second well but failed to capitalise and conceded three more goals to see the home side run out 5-0 winners. Dave Thompson, Kieron Stone (3) and Jon Burgess scored for Westbury.

Under 15s Red Division

THE game between AFC Corsham and visitors Wroughton Juniors turned out to be very competitive, with Corsham battling for every ball.

Chances fell for both sides but the deadlock was broken by a Corsham own goal which followed a save from the keeper which saw the ball hit a defender and roll into the net.

In the second half Wroughton increased their lead with well taken goals as Corsham tired. The home team made a well disciplined Wroughton fight hard for their 5-0 victory.

Under 14s Blue Division

VISITORS Shaw and Whitley held second place Chippenham Town Youth to a 0-0 score line at the halfway mark but the pressure proved too much in the second half and goals from Joe White and Craig Fisher (2) secured the points at 3-0 to Chippenham.

Under 14s Green Division

BEMERTON Heath Harlequins have secured the title after running out 6-0 winners over Trowbridge Wanderers.

Shaw and Whitley beat Worton and Cheverell 6-2. Five minutes into the second half Worton were reduced to ten men following a sending off. Tom Cassin-Davis and Tom Walsh scored for Worton.

Under 14s Red Division

MARLBOROUGH Town ran out against visitors Melksham Park with just nine men but still produced the goods and finished 6-0 winners.

Frazer Brigham (3), Lee Ford and Joe Donnely (2) scored for Marlborough.

In a top of the table clash Bradford remain unbeaten at the top of the table following their 5-2 home win against Pewsey Vale.

Under 13s Blue Division

PEWSEY Vale held visitors Trowbridge Wanderers to a 0-0 score line at the break but two shots on target for Kyle Davis in the second half secured the win for Wanderers.

Under 13s Green Division

LUKE Webb and Benn Pantry were on the score sheet for FC Chippenham but it wasn't enough to see off visitors Durrington Rangers who finished 4-2 winners.

Under 13s Red Division

AFC CORSHAM'S game against visitors Worton and Cheverell kicked off with the home side's Daniel Marshall scoring quickly but Worton replied by piling on the pressure and forcing a penalty which was converted by Ashley House.

Marshall put the home team ahead again and Worton had a second goal ruled out for offside.

Two further goals for Corsham by Marshall and Tom Lye saw the home team stride ahead before Ben Pearce pulled one back for the away team just before half-time.

Corsham opened up the second half with another goal, this time from Nathan Baines. Once again Corsham relaxed and allowed Worton back into the game with a goal from Ben Pearce and one from George Harley. Worton had the bit between their teeth and could sense the chance of snatching victory but Corsham were resolute and a final goal by Marshall put Corsham two goals clear.

Despite more pressure from Worton the game finished at 6-4 to Corsham.

Under 12s Blue Division

LAWRENCE Giles celebrated his first goals of the season as Trowbridge Town Youth ran out 6-4 away winners over Chippenham Town Youth.

Other goals came from Tom Mackinder (2), Jamie Jordan and Luke Fisher.

Castle Combe Colts took a 2-0 lead at the break in their home game against Devizes Town Youth with Devizes bringing the game to 2-1 just after the re-start.

Castle Combe quickly regained their two goal advantage before going on to finish 5-1 winners. Kieren Chivers scored for Devizes.

Under 12s Red Division

CALNE Town Youth maintained their six point advantage at the top of the table following their 5-0 home win against Melksham Park.

Mike Coulson, Sam Paget, Josh Dolman, Jamie Criechton and Matthew Smart scored for Calne.

Bradford on Avon and visitors Warminster United Youth played a very even game which resulted in a 3-3 draw, with Peter Drew and Jordan Smith (2) scoring for Warminster.

Trowbridge Wanderers look strong in second place following their 7-3 away win against FC Chippenham.

Robert Felstead, Jack Ibbetson and Nick Harrison scored for Chippenham.

Under 11s Red Division

DESPITE the score line the game between home side Bradford on Avon and Chippenham Town Youth was closely matched with Bradford taking advantage of their chances to win 4-0.

Joshua Hodges had the magic touch for FC Chippenham in their home game against Melksham Park scoring almost every time he got a touch, finishing with seven goals as Chippenham ran out 10-0 winners. Others from Richard Bray, Joshua Cain and Samuel Copeland.

Under Nines Blue Division

MELKSHAM Park scored early in the first half of their away game against Castle Combe Colts and with excellent defending from Luke Whittard and William Robers kept the score at 1-0 at half-time.

Castle Combe scored two quick goals early in the second half to take the lead and despite a tremendous effort from the home side Castle Combe clinched the victory with a third goal.
