WILTSHIRE LEAGUE: CRICKLADE Town kept tabs on the Premier Division leaders with a 3-2 win over Devizes Town Reserves.

"I thought the game was never going to end," said Cricklade boss Graham Jackson. "The referee must have played almost 10 minutes of injury time.

"It was not one of our better performances but we collected the points."

Matt Charlton and Chris Neale gave Cricklade an interval lead while Ben Carter added a third in the second half.

The visitors kept going and pulled two goals back in injury time.

Biddestone got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win over Pewsey Vale Reserves James Tindall (2) and a second-half penalty from Tim Tasker. Malmesbury Vics drew 0-0 at Shrewton.

Junior Division One leaders Trowbridge Town ran out 4-1 winners against Calne Town Reserves.

Goals from Matt Minnus (2), Gavin Eyre and Booker Woodford secured the win.

Wanborough United bounced back from last week's defeat at Sherston with a 3-1 away win over Ferndale Rodbourne Steve Shaw scored all three for Wanborough.

Wroughton and AFC Stratton Reserves gained a point apiece in an exciting 5-5 draw.

Steve Stewart (2), Mark Ayres (2) and Ian Fawkes scored for Stratton, while Mark Bennett, Luke Curtis, Matt Criddle, Chris Rivers and Serous Mazaneli were on target for Wroughton.

Wootton Bassett United continued their good run with a 4-1 win over Marlborough Town Reserves. Derek Labbett (2), Steve Howse and an own goal secured victory for United.

Two goals from Tony Vizard and one from James Higgs and Gareth Thompson enabled Sherston to run out 4-3 winners over Cricklade Town Reserves.

Bromham got back on the winning path with a 4-2 success at Aldbourne Luke Rudman, Danny Powell, Nathan West and Lee Davis on the scoresheet.

With New College out of action in Junior Two, Trax moved to within two points of the leaders following their 2-1 win over West Swindon.

Third-placed Swindon Asians also made up ground with an 8-1 win over Green Baize. Kamal Miah scored four with Daniel Marracq and Gurmeet Grewell both scoring two apiece.

Minety slipped up at home to Clarendon and Tidworth, losing 2-1. Chiseldon Castrol picked up three points, beating QT Swindon 2-0 with goals from Warren Anger and Dave Rendle.

Goals from Dave Howells, James Anger, Sam Wells and Ben Brookes gave Lower Stratton a 4-0 win over Westside Reserves, while Blunsdon Reserves and Pinehurst OB shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw Steve Challinor and Shane Davies for Pinehurst.

Purton booked a place in the quarter-finals of the Corsham Print Senior Cup at Warminster Town, beating the home side 3-0.

Steve Avenall and Paul Gillett netted minutes before the break to give the visitors an interval lead and Simon Pugh added a third midway through the second half.

Purton boss Ian Restell was happy with the win but said: "It wasn't a great performance from the side but it was not a very good surface due to the recent rain. I thought the man of the match was referee Pete Lowe, who I thought was excellent."
