CRICKLADE'S superior fitness and experience told heavily as Malmesbury were outplayed on a strength-sapping soggy pitch.

The side raced in front through Simon Howes after a strong run from Matt Henshaw. Liam Dunford added a second after another Henshaw run.

Malmesbury gave everything to get back into the game but their charges forward left huge gaps for the home side to exploit.

Jason Johnson took advantage of one and forced his way over for the third try which Danny Lloyd narrowly failed to convert.

Further tries from Henshaw, Nigel Goodgame and captain Steve Baldwin killed off any further Malmesbury resistance.
