A FANTASY looks set to come true for novelist Jasper Fforde who sets his books in a surreal version of Swindon.
For some of his characters may be immortalised further in the street names of future estates.
It may sound outlandish to see life imitating art, but this has already happened in Swindon when Penny Lane paid homage to the Beatles' song when the EMI record company moved into the town.
The council says it is continually looking for local themes for street-naming so why not take up the challenge and suggest that your favourite characters become a Swindon address.
