SCORING goals seems to come easily to Tom Pang, but the young striker admits deciding who to play for next season will be a lot more difficult.

Pang, 19, has scored 30 goals in just 18 appearances for Bradford Town in the Wiltshire League this season and has attracted attention from higher league clubs.

He has ruled out any move before the end of the season but has turned out a couple of times in midweek for Screwfix League Premier Division side Melksham Town.

The former Chippenham youth striker scored his first Screwfix League goal in Melksham's Les Phillips cup win over Calne on Monday night and then admitted he does want to be playing a higher level of football next season.

With Melksham anxious to secure his signature for next season and Bradford still hoping to gain promotion to the Screwfix League Pang knows he will have to upset someone.

He said: "I want to be playing Screwfix League football at the least next season maybe even a bit higher if someone else came in for me.

"Bradford have had a letter inviting them to apply for the Western League and so they could be playing there next season while I know Melksham really want me to join them.

"I will concentrate on trying to reach the 40 goal target for Bradford and then think about my options at the end of the season."

Monday night was Pang's second appearance in a Melksham shirt and he admits his opening goal has given him a lot more confidence that he can be a success at that level.

He said: "I only really had one chance and I put it away so of course it helps prove to me I could score goals at this level.

"The lads were great to me and really helped me through, especially Owen Bryan upfront alongside me as he talked to me all the time and took a lot of the workload off me.

"I have played three games in the last three days and was really tired but I am glad I managed to get my goal and hopefully it will make people sit up and take notice again."
